I think you should spend more time putting beauty into the world.

I worked on my golf swing today. to swing a golf club is to engage in Jo-Ha-Kyu. it is to create poetry in motion. as such, I have brought beauty into the world.

this weekend, I will spend much time doing labor and landscaping. plants will be removed so that others may flourish. building will be solidified so they can withstand storms. the scenery will be robust, lindy, integrated, a composite whole. as such, in this way, I have brought beauty into the world.

every day, in some way, you should strive to create beauty.

this isn’t something to think about.

just something to do.
