nothing too crazy report today. just maybe expanding on a few tweets from today.

> I’ve seen some instances recently where it would seem we’re barreling towards a future where people really don’t have to critically think about things. they don’t have to make choices for themselves. they’ve outsources their autonomy to algorithms and LLMs and computational in general.

this seems to be the final step in the automation of everything. I personally do not think software should eat the world. I think it should maybe augment those who inhabit it.

what do I know.

> music theory 🤝 good writing

both of these things rely on what boils down to a rhythm in communication. in music they call it metres and beats and measures and whatever. in language it’s about tone and prosody and phonetics and whatever.

it’s all hinting towards what’s ultimately the flow of sound. in both instances you’re “bending” the attention span of the audience — like a water bender would bend water, or an air bender would bend air — so that a Vibe can be Communicated.

idk, something I’ve been thinking about lately. there’s a way to communicate your ideas across minds that’s very similar to the way a good song feels.

this is something I’ll continue to exam.
