I keep telling people that ‘Art” is more of a verb than a noun. I don’t necessarily have the proper linguistic knowledge nor authority to make that claim in a technical sense, but in a practical sense, it feels very true. I’ve always found art to be a product of the process rather than the finalized output itself.

the output is important, as is its quality. but it’s the process through which that output is created that leads to the finalized version of its quality.

it’s not like Good things just poof! appear into existence. there’s a careful and intentional process of moulding that takes place over time.

[you guys wouldn’t know it if I didn’t include it, but I just took about a 10-minute break to read Kafka’s Wikipedia page. quite the character, that one. something in the water when it comes to early 20th century Austrian thinkers. looking at you too, Freud. who’s studying this?]

anyway, tomorrow is another day.

[that Kafka break shattered my attention into a million bajillion pieces, whoops!]
