the reason we have a “stuck” culture is because we don’t have any paradigm-defining artist. or any history-worthy paradigms, really.

everything is stale and formulaic. people do things because that’s how they’ve always been done, and that’s what made the most money, so, yeah, why wouldn’t they be done that way?

there is no edge anymore. no counterculture. no avant garde. all people know how to do is Adobe CC, Canva, prompt, post, eat hot chip, and lie.

we all know what to do but we have no idea why we do it anymore.
